On any given day, 1.5 million teens have one thing in common: homelessness. To make matters worse, every year an additional 25,000 teens Òage outÓ
of foster care, adding to the rolls. Forty percent of those 25,000 kids will experience homelessness. That means that 10,000 kids per year will be added to the million plus who already live on the streets of our country.
In these times of job losses and foreclosures more teens will be turned out on the streets. Our current economic climate is only going to exacerbate this problem, unless you do something to help.
These kids have dreams and aspirations just like you. This is why weĠre asking you to do 1 thing. WeĠre not asking you to solve this problem in its entirety. WeĠre breaking it down into bite-sized pieces so all your
singular acts add up to a greater whole. On ValentineĠs Day we launched a massive campaign to make these kids visible nation-wide and help you envision what it means to be homeless. WeĠre asking you to do 1 thing to
help them out. Just do 1 thing.
